Maria Claudia Lozano is one of the founding members of a company that managed multi-unit commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings in Bogota in the late 1970s through 1986, when she left for the USA.
In 2008, she was one of the founding members of SoFla Personal Assistants in South Florida, servicing the areas from Coconut Grove to Aventura by offering Property Management and Concierge Services to out-of-state owners in Baltimore, Oklahoma, and South Florida who owned luxury private residences that remained vacant and ready for owner visits.
She has also been offering Consulting Services such as Accounting and managing owner compliance needs, including insurance renewals, annual report renewals with the different states, and coordination of Tax Filing services in the U.S. for out-of-country owners who have private residences for rental in Illinois, Ohio, and Florida.
In 2026, through SoFla Management, we are now expanding our services to Colombia once again by offering our 40 years of expertise to assist expats with their relocation needs by offering residential services in Medellin and the surrounding areas, not only assisting in the purchase of properties, but also providing renovation consulting services, property management, concierge services as needed, daily maintenance for residential needs such as upkeep and repairs, and the necessary support to navigate processes in a foreign country.
With nearly three decades of experience in high level investigative work with the U.S. Federal Government, Elie brings a strong foundation in oversight, problem solving, and managing complex situations requiring discretion, organization, and trust.

Carlos Lozano brings more than 25 years of high-level project management, client relations, and operational oversight experience from the United States to Medellín’s growing luxury real estate market. As one of the founders of SoFla Management, Carlos personally oversees every property under management, providing owners and investors with professionalism, transparency, and attention to detail often difficult to find in the local market.
With extensive experience managing complex projects, coordinating vendors, overseeing renovations, and delivering exceptional client service, SoFla Management specializes in luxury property management, long-term rentals, vacation homes, investor consulting, maintenance coordination, inspections, and concierge services for both local and international clients.
